Hey everyone. We are making this post to let you know the progress of our construction for RSV.
As of now, all units are framed, wired and plumbed. Deck and roofing construction for unit 3 is also underway. Over the next few months, units 1, 2, 4 and 5 will be drywalled and amenities will be put in place.
Units 1 & 2 will be connected together with a large deck with separate entrances offering the ability to conjoin rooms if desired. Units 3, 4 & 5 will offer private covered decks that will more than double the livable square footage.
The final phase will be the installation of the off-grid capable 36Kw solar system with battery storage, solar hot water tanks and backup water cisterns. We also plan on installing rainwater catchment systems on each unit for irrigation and other non-potable uses.
Our island retreat wouldn’t be complete without tropical vegetation – and lots of it. Our botanical garden encompasses the entire property and includes a vast array of fruits, flowers, and other plants that are both beautiful and fascinating. The edible selection we currently have growing include passionfruit, coconut, guava, papaya, mango, apple bananas, Barbados cherry, lychee, soursop and sugar apple. Some of our exotic flowers are hibiscus, ylang-ylang, lightbulb, ginger and many others with more being added every month.

Currently, RSV’s rental units are being built. But we plan on finishing construction by the end of 2023 or maybe in early 2024. We have made a lot of progress but still have a way to go.
